This is a table of Allgemeine-SS Standarten (General SS Regiments) and where they were headquartered within each SS Main District according to the SS-Dienstaltersliste of November 1944. As shown, some had honour titles being named after those considered heroes/martyrs of National Socialisme.

8SS-Gruppenführer Fritz von Scholz won the Knight's Cross, Oak Leaves and Swords with the "Nordland" Division and was killed on the Eastern Front in 1944.
9Sigreid Seidel-Dittmarsch was Himmler's adjutant until his death of natural causes in 1934.
10SS-Gruppenführer Wilhelm Löper died of natural causes in 1935.
11Franz Holzweber was an Austrian Nazi killed in Vienna in 1934.
12SS-Brigadeführer und Generalmajor der Polizei Franz Kutschera was killed in 1944 as SS and Police Leader "Warsaw".
